Alan Hawe's school says he was not under investigation for accessing pornography during school time.
Castlerahan NS has released a statement to say there was no disciplinary process or any other investigation launched into the father of 3.
The Cavan school, where Alan Hawe was a teacher, says recent reports suggesting he was engaging in sexual activity have damaged the reputation of personnel.
Hawe murdered his wife Clodagh and their three sons - Liam, Niall and Ryan - before taking his own life in August 2016.
The Board of Management at Castlerahan NS released this statement earlier.
Castlerahan NS says recent reports have cause a great deal of stress in the school community.
The school also believes they have reignited the emotions and trauma experienced at the time of the tragedy.
