Actress Announced As Grand Marshall Of Dublin's St Patrick's Day Parade
Actress Victoria Smurfit has been announced as the Grand Marshall of this year's St Patrick's Day Parade in Dublin.
The theme for this year's festival is 'adventures' with three days of events taking place from March 15th.

CEO of the St Patrick's Day Festival in Dublin, Richard Tierney said, "we were looking at sportspeople, we were looking at actors, literally everyone [including] politicians.
"And her name came up, and we made one phone call and she said 'yes'."
Last year, the host of The Late Late Show Patrick Kielty was the Grand Marshall.
