The cost of a pint of stout has increased by 21.2% between 2010 and 2020.
Figures from the Central Statistics Office shows that 10 years ago the average pint of the black stuff would set you back €3.96, while now it has increased to €4.80.

The body also goes into details about the increase in the cost of a box of 20 cigarettes and shows the price has gone up by 59.6% between 2010 and 2020.
And there was a drop in the amount of money that Irish households owe with the figures standing at €92 billion in 2019, however it fell in 2020 to €87 billion.
