A mystery winner has come forward to claim a €94 million Euromillions jackpot.
The prize, the second largest in National Lottery history, was claimed by the winner at Lotto HQ in Dublin today.
The winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “I’m absolutely thrilled. Dreams do come true!
The news is still sinking in so for the moment I’d like to keep the win private.
I’m looking forward to thinking about all the opportunities that are now open to me. It’s a really exciting time!”
He or she is now automatically the 96th richest person in Ireland and shares the jackpot of over €187 million from the draw on Tuesday 24 June 2013 with a player in Belgium.
Lotto says it will release the name of the shop which sold the winning ticket at a later date.
