90 people are currently in hospital with Covid-19 - four times the amount compared to a month ago.
The numbers in ICU have also more than doubled over the same period to 19.
The head of the HSE, Paul Reid, says he's "very concerned" at the increasing numbers.

It comes as a further 188 cases were reported yesterday, on the day 'wet pubs' opened for the first time in six months.
Public health officials are monitoring whether several counties need to have level 3 restrictions imposed, like Dublin.
Meanwhile, 47% of the Irish population think the worst of the Covid-19 pandemic is ahead of us.
According to the Department of Health, which commissioned the survey, that's the highest level since April.
The survey also found that 52% of the population are in favour of more restrictions being introduced.
