Nearly 900 young people aged 18 to 24 are now sleeping rough.
Focus Ireland is calling on the Government to develop a Youth Homelessness Strategy to tackle the spiralling crisis.
It's holding the hashtag #EndYouthHomelessness campaign at today's Body and Soul music festival and has an online petition on focusirland.ie.
Focus Ireland spokesperson Rachel Murphy wants young people to get particular help to stay off the streets.

She says young people need homeless services for young people and protections need to be put in place for young people who are at risk of becoming homeless.
Focus Ireland also believes homeless services for LGBTQ+ young people need to be developed.
