An 8 year old boy is in a serious condition in hospital after he was attacked by two dogs in Dublin.
It happened at a house in Tallaght at around 4 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
The boy was set upon by what's understood to have been two Rottweilers, which are believed to be family pets.
He was taken to Tallaght Hospital with serious injuries and was later transferred to Crumlin Children's Hospital.
The Dog Warden was notified following the attack and the dogs were confiscated.
Gardai say a full investigation is underway.
