7 in 10 girls are now getting the HPV vaccine.
That means in just over 2 years the uptake rate has risen by 20%.
The HSE says the increase in girls getting the jab - which protects against cervical cancer - is "extremely encouraging".

Vaccination teams will be going into secondary schools across the country this week so girls can get the second dose.
