60 staff at Cork University Hospital have been placed in self-isolation after a case of Coronavirus at the hospital.
Yesterday a man who had been treated at CUH was confirmed to have Covid 19 in the first case of community transmission.
It's understood he had been in the hospital for up to a week and was in contact with a number of people before he was tested.
The number of new cases in the Republic doubled last night and now stands at 13.
Meanwhile, in Dublin, some areas of Trinity College have been closed after a confirmed case at the campus.
