300 new jobs are to be created over the next six years at a new national “big data” centre.
The Insight Centre will bring together researchers from four universities around the country - and will create 12 “spin-off” companies.
ItÂ’s part of the GovernmentÂ’s efforts to attract more investment in Big Data centres in Ireland - which it believes can be a cornerstone of the Irish economy in the years ahead.
