Three people have been stabbed to death in Norway after a bus was hijacked.
Norwegian police say the driver is among those killed.
It's reported a man armed with a knife boarded the bus in the western town of Ardal at around 5.30pm local time.
Authorities received reports of injuries on the bus and initially believed they were as a result of a traffic accident.
When the emergency services arrived on the scene they overpowered the suspect and disarmed him.
Police say he is aged in his 50's and is not an ethnic Norwegian.
