Three Irish writers have made the 2013 Man Booker Prize longlist for literature.
Colum McCann, Donal Ryan and Colm Toibin are among the 13 authors named today.
The selection was made by a panel of five judges from 151 titles.
A shortlist will be revealed in September, with the winner to be announced in October.
