3 people have been arrested as part of an investigation into illegal money lending in Co. Sligo.
A 46 year old man and 42 year old woman were arrested today on suspicion of extortion and are currently detained at Ballymote and Carrick on Shannon Garda stations.
Gardai also arrested a 17 year old woman as part of the investigation, but she has since been released from custody.
A file is being prepared for the DPP.
