One quarter of families say they're worried about not being able to feed their children.
A survey by Barnardos and Aldi Ireland found 19% of parents have skipped meals or reduced their portion size to ensure their children can eat.

The research highlighted the growing cost of groceries with one in three people spending between 21% and 50% of their income on food.
It's left many feeling low with respondents reporting feelings of guilt, shame and embarrassment.
The study also found that 51% of parents have cut back spending in other areas like utility bills, loan repayments and medical fees.
