A 21 year old man has been killed after the car he was driving crashed into a ditch in Dunshaughlin in Co Meath at half 12 last night.
Five others who were in the car at the time - three men and two women suffered non life threatening injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to the crash which took place on the Dunshaughlin to Dunboyne Road.
The road has been closed while a Garda Forensic Examination takes place.
