The number of coronavirus cases in Ireland has risen by 20.
There are now 90 confirmed cases of covid-19 in the Republic, while there has been one death.
- Â Â 6 cases are associated with travel
- Â Â 12 are associated with contacts of confirmed case; 4 of which are healthcare workers
- Â 2 cases are associated with community transmission
Across the island of Ireland, there are now 119 cases.

Dr. Tony Holohan, Chief Medical Officer, Department of Health, said;
“The National Public Health Emergency Team will continue to monitor the ongoing threat of this virus and will take actions where necessary.
“For people returning from areas affected by COVID-19, we strongly encourage the individual to restrict their movements."
