Two people have been killed in separate crashes in Wexford and Donegal.
A 36-year-old man died when he was hit by a car near New Ross in Wexford and a 19-year-old man died in a two-car crash in Donegal.
At around 10 o'clock last night a pedestrian was hit by a car on the N25 at Portersland near New Ross in Wexford
The 36-year-old man was taken to University Hospital Waterford but later died - the driver of the car was uninjured.
In Donegal, 19-year-old man and three men have been injured in a two-car crash on the N56 at Creeslough It happened at around half 9 last night.
The 19-year-old, who was a passenger in one of the cars, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and another passenger in the car, both men in their 20s, were taken to hospital.
The driver of the second car, a man in his late 50s, was also taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to both crashes.
