Two men have died after a light aircraft crashed in Co. Kildare.
The plane crashed yesterday evening at Belan, Moone, Athy.
The aircraft was found at 4:30am this morning, following a search conducted by Gardaí and Irish Coast Guard helicopter rescue 116.
The two men were aged in their 50s and 70s.
There's no indication yet of what caused the crash, according to the Air Accident Investigation Unit.
Officials from the AAIU spent most of the day examining the crash site.
The wreckage has been removed from the scene.
