2 people have been killed in separate crashes in Dublin and Galway.
Just before 8 o'clock last night, a 17-year-old boy was killed when his motorbike collided with a bus at St Margaret's in Finglas.
The 50-year-old bus driver was treated for shock at the scene but was uninjured.
In Galway, a 26-year-old woman was killed and two other people were injured when their car left the road and hit a concrete post.
It happened at a quarter to seven yesterday evening on the Headford to Tuam Road
The driver of the car, a 32-year-old man and the front seat passenger, a 28-year-old man, have been hospitalised and their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Gardai are appealing for witnesses to both crashes.
