Two men have been arrested after an attempted armed robbery in Dublin this morning.
Staff at the post office in Clonsilla were threatened by men armed with hundgun and hammers this morning.
The two suspects were arrested near Kilbeggan, Co Westmeath, forty minutes later.
The men, who are both aged in their 20s, are being detained at Blanchardstown Garda Station.
