A 19-year-old man stabbed in Dublin last Thursday has died from his injuries.
Gardaí have released a statement saying Marius Mamaliga died at Beaumont Hospital yesterday afternoon.
On Saturday, Dublin District Court heard Mr Mamaliga was stabbed while he sat in a car on Brookdale Avenue in Swords.
20-year-old Brandon Gavin of Brookdale Road, River Valley in Swords, was charged with causing serious harm.
The court heard an hour and twenty minutes after the incident, Mr Gavin handed himself into Gardaí after his father brought him to Swords Station.
The court also heard Gardaí had CCTV evidence of a male approaching the car's rear and fleeing 14 seconds later.
Mr Gavin is due to appear at Cloverhill District Court on Wednesday.
