One in four Irish people would prefer to eat steak for their Christmas dinner, over more traditional meals.
That's according to new research from Subway, which also shows nearly one-third of us complain that turkey is just too dry.
17% of people surveyed said they'd prefer to have pizza instead, followed by curry and Chinese.
Meanwhile, almost 4 in 10 people said they'd be happy if their plate came without brussel sprouts.
Psychologist Greg Tucker says:
"Traditions trigger emotions that we want to experience and being a sensory delight, food is a short-cut to these feelings.
But whilst food is the catalyst to these emotions, it isn’t the root cause, so we shouldn’t be afraid to step outside of our comfort zone and enjoy something different this Christmas."
