A further 1,352 new cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Ireland today
The five-day moving average of new cases currently stands at 1,348.
Figures released by the HSE earlier today showed there were 177 patients with COVID-19 in Irish hospitals (an increase of 14 compared to yesterday), including 27 in ICU (an increase of one).
Latest vaccination figures, meanwhile, show 87% of adults have received at least one dose, while 73% are now fully vaccinated.

The HSE has said the uptake of vaccines at this weekend’s mass vaccination centre was “way beyond” their expectations.
18,000 people received a first dose across Saturday and Sunday, with half of those aged 16-17.
