An 11 year old Irish girl has died after falling from a hotel balcony on the Spanish island of Mallorca.
Spanish police are investigating the incident in Alcudia, which happened in the early hours of this morning.
It's being reported her parents were sleeping at the time.
A person staying at the hotel made the emergency call when they discovered the girl's body.
The Department of Foreign Affairs says it's aware of the case and is providing consular assistance.
