Five people have been confirmed dead after a volcano erupted on a small island in New Zealand.
Police say a number of people remain unaccounted for, but it's too dangerous for emergency services to attempt to rescue them.
Around 50 people were on or around White Island at the time. No one lives there, but it's a popular spot for tourists.
Police also said that it is too dangerous to search the island following the eruption, but a statement from St John Ambulance said it had now dispatched paramedics on helicopters and was aiming to establish a triage unit on the island.
A no-fly zone has also been established.
