This year marks the 7th year of Record Store Day and we at Tower Records are going ALL OUT!
RSD is a celebration of independent record shops where staff, customers and artists come together to promote independent music. Special vinyl, CD releases and deadly merchandise are all made exclusively available on the day. This year, Record Store Day will be EVEN MORE SPECIAL for us! We will be having a MASSIVE RECORD STORE DAY PARTY in our brand new shiny shop on Dawson St (there will also be RSD releases in our Easons, O’Connell St shop).
It kicks off at 8.00am in both shops, Dawson St and Eason’s, O’Connell St.
The fantastic Lisa Hannigan will be in-store and will play some tunes, as will Little Matador (fronted by Snow Patrol guitarist Nathan Connolly with drummer Paul ‘Binzer’ Brennan, bassist Gavin Fox, Troy Stewart, and guitarist Dave Magee), Join Me In The Pines (Dave Geraghty, Bell X 1) and singer-songwriter SOAK.
