Birdy, whose real name is Jasmine van den Bogaerde, is only 17 years old yet her first album delivered some stunning covers of songs by artists such as Phoenix, Bon Iver, and The xx.
Following on from the massive success of her renditions of Iver's modern classic "Skinny Love" and Cherry Ghost's "People Help the People" Birdy has announced her new album "Fire Within" will be available September 23rd.
Here is the promotional film with a preview of two songs, "Wings" and "No Angel".
Birdy recently collaborated with much hyped, grammy nominated banjo stranglers Mumford and Sons on the song "Learn Me Right" which featured in the Disney Pixar film "Brave".
Birdy's original song "Just A Game" is featured on The Hunger Games: Songs From District 12 And Beyond, produced by T Bone Burnett.
"Just A Game" will be included on the Blu-Ray edition of The Hunger Games, which will be released on August 18th.
