The lack of HSE funding for drugs that will treat certain medical conditions has been a major problem in Ireland over the last few years.
Dr. Ruairi Hanley describes it as "a uniquely Irish problem."
Part of the reason for this lack of funding are that many of these drugs are enormously expensive - but Ruairi argues that we do have the money.
"Contrary to popular belief, we do spend enough money on health. We just spend it in the wrong ways."
