Former Supermodel and perennial host of America's Top Model, Tyra Banks has revealed that she is developing a theme park dedicated to the industry.
It's going to be called 'Modelland' No, really.
It sounds like something from a scene in Zoolander or a story from Waterford Whispers News but no, this is fact.
She told Woman's Wear Daily, "It's my calling to bring modeling to the masses, and now with Modelland, I'm taking it 10 steps forward, giving people the opportunity to engage with the elusive world by opening it up to everyone."
The name stems from a book she wrote back in 2011, called 'Modelland', which centered around a young woman named Tookie De La Crème (the greatest character name in literary history), who dreamed of attending a boarding school to become one of the 'Intoxibellas', the most revered models in the world! Incredibly it was panned by critics.
She confirmed the news by tweeting recently:
My dream for you will soon be a reality. #ModelLand
A place where everyone can be a model.
A place where all beauty is celebrated.
I can’t wait for you to Step Into Your Light.

Also they are planning to make it global. We could have a franchise in Ireland lads.
So, the Muireann O'Connell show has rattled their brains and come up with a few theme park rides that could possibly (not) feature at Modelland:
