Irish writer and director, Marion Wyatt, discovered a small collection of cards and letters after the death of her mother.
They were written between her parents between 1952 and 1975. Marion’s father died in 1975 but her mother continued to write to him.
Marion wrote a play based on her parents’ love story, and it opens in the Everyman Theatre in Cork on Weds April 6th.
She tells Matt how reading their letters and cards was like stepping back into another era.
