Bowe made his Ulster seasonal debut against Cardiff four weeks ago. He's yet to reach his formidable best but fans can be encouraged that he is now fully recovered from the groin surgery he underwent during the summer and believes this is the strongest he has been since returning to Ulster in 2012.
“This is my third year back with Ulster and it’s definitely the best I’ve been physically so I’m excited about a big season."
“I feel great and to be honest with you it’s been amazing to actually get a proper pre-season in. I couldn’t tell you the last time I had a full or extended pre-season without being rushed back. I went for surgery in the summer, which meant I missed out on the tour (to Argentina) and I think I’m really benefiting from it.”
