THE IRISH CANCER SOCIETY’S NIGHT NURSING SERVICE
The Irish Cancer Society runs a Night Nursing Service, providing palliative care to cancer patients in their own homes. The appointed nurse provides nursing care, practical support and comfort to the patient, managing their symptoms and offering respite and reassurance for their family members too so that they can get some rest through the night.
The nurse is provided for up to 10 nights free of charge, funded by generous public donations and campaigns like Today FM’s Shave or Dye or Oh My!
