In February last year, the New York Times outed the former Citi bond syndicate man John Le Fevre as the person behind a Twitter account called @GSElevator, which had originally purported to be a window into the musings and sayings and occasional witticisms of the employees of Godman Sachs as they went about their daily business.
It later became a repository of jokes and jibes allegedly made by people working in the financial services industry in general and currently has 724,000 followers.
