The book "Maestra" has been a publishing sensation that sparked a seven-figure bidding war for the film rights.
It's been compared to Gone Girl, The Talented Mr Ripley and Fifty Shades of Grey.
However, author LS Hilton tells Matt she's not completely happy with the comparison to Fifty Shades of Grey.
Lisa Hilton is best known as an Oxford historian and author of books on Tudor queens and English history.
But according to the Daily Mail her new novel Maestra "is a decadent tale of lust and lacy underwear, complete with a murderous female seductress called Judith who can remove a gentleman's trouser belt with her teeth."
