Labour has been accused of ignoring public appointment guidelines when they appointed David Begg chairman of the Pensions Authority.
Independent Alliance TD for Waterford John Halligan has put down a motion of no-confidence in Tánaiste Joan Burton following her decision.
However, Minister for Employment, Community and Social Support Kevin Humphreys tells Matt only "Shane Ross and his groupies" have a problem with the appointment.
