Repeat Burglars to get longer sentences

Independent TD Michael Healy Rae’s house was broken into in July last year while he was away. Healy Rae later invited the raiders to return to the house when he was there but warned them  that they “might leave in a wooden box”. However, he denies that he is advocating more liberal gun ownership laws as a response to the growth in rural crime.
