Online dating is now the second most common way to meet a partner. Incredibly, around a third of marriages between 2009 and 2012 started online.
But just how successful is it in the long run?
We were joined by cyberpsychologist Nicola Fox Hamilton, who told us about how Irish people present themselves online and how they go about looking for love.
