- 'I gave my brother a lend of three grand when he was in college. That summer he went around the world... I've asked many times. That's ten years ago.'
- 'I paid £120 for two concert tickets for two friends that were to go with us. They pulled out a week before the concert and never paid it back.'
- 'I gave an ex a loan for €4000 in two installments of €3000 and €1000. When I asked for it back he refused as he said he couldn't afford it. That was four years ago and he is now married and expecting his first child!'
- 'I gave a close family member money for a family business and have yet to receive the full amount back. I have asked on numerous occasions for the balance and my requests fall on deaf ears. The issue has ruined the relationship for me, but I've learnt my lesson from it.'
- 'I gave a friend €2000 three years ago for two days. Never got it back. ruined the relationship.'
- 'My friend owes me €96 for a concert ticket. I've asked for it back but she said she had no money. Then I see pictures of her on holidays on social media. Not fair at all.'
