This is too cute!
An Irish dairy farmer has blessed Twitter with the news that ear muffs for cows exist.
Apparently the adorable knitwear is to protect cows ears from cold weather conditions in harsh Winter weather.
So it turns out ear muffs for calves to stop them getting frostbite are a real thing... pic.twitter.com/KiiAbTaRYV

They're mostly used in Canada, where temperatures can drop as low as -40 degrees in Winter.
Although we don't have quite as cold weather here, it's important we keep our Irish calves cosy too.
The farmer followed up the original post with a picture of his own calf in a little jacket.
They're made for places like Canada where it gets to around -10.. We put lil coats on some of the weaker calves on our farm though pic.twitter.com/sguP9uIeqZ

It also turns out people go to all lengths to keep their cattle friends comfortable.
Another Twitter user shared this heartwarming story.
We used to bring calves into the basement by the fire when it got too cold in the winter. They’d have muffs on and i’d read them bedtime stories and feed them bottles of milk

So there you have it, a very moo-ving story about how cows keep their ears warm.
