Electric Picnic arrives this weekend, but there's more than just music involved. Food lovers can check out Theatre of Food, described as "a mind-expanding, mind-altering concept of what Irish food is all about."
As organiser Sally McKenna explains, Theatre of Food is more than just a plain old food show: "We've got actors, puppeteers, musicians, and fantastic food. We give people plenty of tastes and it's just great fun."
Susan Steele is the Chair and CEO of the Sea Fisheries Protection Agency. She will be giving a talk at the event on the health benefits at the sea.
Susan's obsession with the sea began when she was three years old. She eventually went on to set up the Seafood Development Centre and says, "We want to push the boundaries and look at something new."
The talk will include the concept of cooking with seawater.
"The incredible thing about seawater is, we are seawater. Our blood is actually salty."
"Seawater is very salty, so it can either be diluted or the salt can be allowed to crust for flavour. If you boil down seawater, you get sea salt, and everybody uses sea salt."
