Roisin Ingle's new book Public Displays of Emotion is a collection of her Irish Times columns - with one exception, a chapter in which she writes about the abortion she had 15 years ago. "You might want to ask why I would write about it, why now, and that is a very good question for a few reasons", she says. "If you are Irish, you know what writing about this mean for me.
