Former sports journalist Tom Humphries has pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a teenage girl.
Last week it was revealed in court that two men provided character references in support of Humphries, one of whom has been named as Sunday Times journalist David Walsh.
Below is a December 2012 interview with Walsh which was recorded for The Last Word but never broadcast, during which he expressed his support for Humphries during the investigation.
