The impact of stress, depression, self –harms, bullying low self-esteem anxiety and eating disorders to name a few are challenges on young people’s mental health, and also their communities in general.
Gilligan believes that we need to educate our young people on the importance of mental health awareness, introduce a culture of understanding, and teach young people to build emotional intelligence and resilience.
