Donegal minor football manager Declan Bonner has spoken of his disgust at the "toxic" abuse suffered by one of his players during the recent Ulster championship encounter with Tyrone.
Tyrone footballer Seán Cavanagh told The Last Word on Monday that the senior game between the two sides featured a huge amount of sledging between both sets of players also.
Cavanagh, who has won three All-Ireland medals under Mickey Harte in ’03, ’05 and ’08 has admitted that players did overstep the mark last Sunday.
Last Word GAA contributors, Martin Carney and Peter Canavan both attended the game in question and they spoke to Matt Cooper earlier this evening.
They say that it remains to be seen what the GAA bodies can do to stop it, if anything.
