In the third part of our Home Truths series on the housing crisis in Ireland, we examined the question of who is building our houses and why they cost so much.
First we heard from Michael O'Flynn, one of Ireland's most prominent developers and managing director of O'Flynn Construction, who is currently building on two schemes in Dublin and five in Cork. Michael gave us his view as a developer.
We then spoke to Lorcan Sirr, lecturer in urban economics at Dublin Institute of Technology, and Ronan Lyons, economist at Trinity College and author of the Daft Report.
