More women have come forward alleging they were sexually assaulted and robbed during New Years celebrations in the German city of Cologne, as police faced mounting criticism for their handling of the incident.
Police and witness have said up to 1,000 men attacked, robbed and threatened at least 80 women.
Cologne police chief Wolfgang Albers said the men looked to be from “the Arab or North African region.”
