Aladdin Sane or Fit For A Prince?
TodayFM's Muireann O'Connell is a huge fan of the original and let's face it there are few people out there that have anything but love and affection for the 'Genie' role played by Robin Williams in Aladdin. So, it was always going to be a thankless task for Will Smith to reprise one of animated cinema's most treasured roles.
The live action Aladdin is out in a fortnight and this is the latest teaser.

He also needs to interact with the crowd more like the original. There's a lot of problems here, but we should have expected this. Can you really compare an animated genie with the voice of ROBIN WILLIAMS vs. an in-person Will Smith? Will was doomed from the get-go.
