Fine Gael's former Director of Organisations and Strategy, Frank Flannery, dropped in to studio earlier.
He recently teamed up with Bill O’Herlihy to record a weekly podcast discussing the big political issues of the moment.
As former CEO of the Rehab group, he told the Last Word that the Public Accounts Committee was "totally out of order" to try and question him over its spending.
He said the Rehab Group is not under the PAC's remit and that his political connections probably had a lot to do with why he was called in.
