The culmination of weeks and weeks of training is nearly over and Swim for a Mile 2015 is almost here.
The event kicks off on Monday 18th May starting in Leisureworld, Bishopstown, Co Cork.
On Tuesday, it heads west to UL Sport, Limerick where The Last Word with Matt Cooper will be broadcasting from the event.
On Wednesday, the swim will take place at Kingfisher, NUI Galway and on Thursday at Bangor Aurora.
The week will draw to a close in the National Aquatic Centre, Dublin on Friday 22nd May for what promises to be a fantastic atmosphere with almost 600 people swimming the mile. The Last Word with Matt Cooper will be broadcasting from the NAC.
Another 75 pools around the country will partake in the event on the final night of the challenge.
