Best known as Winnie McGoogan in her brother Brendan’s successful BBC sitcom, Mrs Brown’s Boys, Eilish O’Carroll also has a highly successful ‘one woman show’ that she will be taking around Ireland over the next few months.
'Live Love Laugh' will be playing dates in Dublin, Derry, LetterKenny, Galway, Tralee, Waterford, Wexford, Cork and Dun Laoghaire.
The show is described as a ‘reflective look on an eventful life that includes a strict Catholic upbringing, two failed marriages and coming out as a lesbian.
Eilish spoke to The Last Word about the success of Mrs Brown’s Boys and coming out as a lesbian at the age of 50 to her sons.
Eilish said that she always meant to tell them but bottled out due to fear of rejection - “Finally I took them out to dinner and came out”.
